Job Requirements
- Willingness to work varied hours including evenings until midnight
- Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs and push/pull up to 20 lbs frequently
- Capability to stand, reach, and turn for extended periods
- Experience operating scanners, registers, check approval machines, and coupon machines
- Ability to make judgments, decisions, and communicate effectively
- Occasional capacity to lift/carry over 50 lbs and perform physical activities such as squatting, stooping, bending, and walking
- Ability to operate calculators
- Adherence to punctuality and reliability standards
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Friendly and outgoing personality
- Experience working in a front-end retail position preferred
- Knowledge of coupons, returns, security procedures, and customer etiquette
- Strong communication and social skills
- Motivation to grow career and continue learning
Job Duties
- Make lasting connections with customers
- Ring up customer purchases in an accurate, efficient, and prompt manner
- Problem solve customer questions and/or concerns, escalate to manager as needed
- Help maintain a clean and safe store environment
- Collaborate with team members on tasks to ensure an excellent department
- Arrive promptly for shifts and work as scheduled
- Promote customer service and positive team dynamics
