Job Requirements

  • Willingness to work varied hours including evenings until midnight
  • Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs and push/pull up to 20 lbs frequently
  • Capability to stand, reach, and turn for extended periods
  • Experience operating scanners, registers, check approval machines, and coupon machines
  • Ability to make judgments, decisions, and communicate effectively
  • Occasional capacity to lift/carry over 50 lbs and perform physical activities such as squatting, stooping, bending, and walking
  • Ability to operate calculators
  • Adherence to punctuality and reliability standards

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Friendly and outgoing personality
  • Experience working in a front-end retail position preferred
  • Knowledge of coupons, returns, security procedures, and customer etiquette
  • Strong communication and social skills
  • Motivation to grow career and continue learning

Job Duties

  • Make lasting connections with customers
  • Ring up customer purchases in an accurate, efficient, and prompt manner
  • Problem solve customer questions and/or concerns, escalate to manager as needed
  • Help maintain a clean and safe store environment
