Job Duties
- Greet, engage and assist customers actively
- Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently
- Operate Point of Sale (POS) system and handle various tenders including cash, checks, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, and coupons
- Adhere to company policies on cash shortages, restricted sale items, and loss prevention
- Report pricing discrepancies and follow procedures for postage stamps, gift cards, and coupons
- Stay current with promotions, ads, and food safety regulations
- Maintain a safe and welcoming environment for customers and comply with all local, state, and federal laws
