Job Duties
- Greet customers warmly and engage with them actively at the point of sale
- Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently using POS system
- Handle multiple tender types including cash, checks, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, WIC, coupons, and company loyalty offers
- Adhere to company policies regarding cash handling, restricted sales, and coupon redemption
- Report pricing discrepancies, maintain food safety standards, and comply with all operational procedures
- Identify and report any unsafe conditions or equipment malfunctions, supporting store safety programs
- Provide product information to customers and maintain a welcoming environment
