Job Requirements
- be at least 18 years of age
- have a high school diploma or equivalent
- have 1-2 years of recent cashiering experience
- demonstrate outgoing and friendly behavior
- ability to operate front end equipment such as register calculator scanner
- be dependable and reliable with ability to work a flexible schedule including nights weekends and holidays
- have good communication skills and ability to take direction and participate in a team environment
- be able to perform repetitious activities multitask prioritize and stay organized
- must lift carry product weighing up to 30 lbs and move grocery carts requiring force up to 35 lbs for extended periods
- require strong attention to detail and proficiency with numbers and cash handling
- ability to read write and count

Job Duties
- process customer orders quickly accurately and efficiently ensuring complete customer satisfaction through prompt and friendly service
- handle customer cash credit debit payments and change accurately
- provide customers with information and resolve their complaints
- follow all front end procedures and assist with stocking shelves facing and dusting as needed
- maintain knowledge of weekly ad items direct customers to product locations and inform about store events and seminars
- communicate effectively with front end manager and Head Cashier at all times
- ensure checkout areas are clean and orderly and execute other related duties as assigned
