Job Requirements
- be at least 18 years old
- possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- have 1-2 years of recent cashiering experience
- demonstrate friendly and outgoing behavior
- ability to operate front end equipment including register, calculator, and scanner
- be dependable with ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- good communication skills
- ability to take direction and work in a team
- capability to perform repetitious activities
- ability to multitask, prioritize and stay organized
- lift and carry products up to 30 lbs from 36 inches to 24 inches
- move grocery carts horizontally requiring force up to 35 lbs
- require strong attention to detail
- proficient in cash handling and math skills
- ability to read, write, and count

Job Duties
- process customer orders quickly, accurately, and with friendly service
- handle customer cash, credit/debit payments, and change accurately
- assist customers by providing information and resolving complaints
- follow all front end procedures and assist with stocking shelves, facing, and dusting
- maintain knowledge of weekly ad items and direct customers to product locations
- ensure checkout areas are clean and orderly
- maintain communication with front end manager and Head Cashier
