Job Requirements
- have a high school diploma or equivalent
- be at least 18 years of age
- possess 1-2 years of recent cashiering experience
- demonstrate outgoing and friendly behavior and positive attitude
- ability to operate front end equipment such as register, calculator, and scanner
- reliable with flexible schedule availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- good communication skills and ability to take direction and participate in a team
- ability to multitask, prioritize, and stay organized
- physically capable of lifting up to 30 lbs and moving grocery carts
- strong attention to detail and proficiency with numbers

- strong attention to detail and proficiency with numbers including cash handling and mathematical skills
Job Duties
- process each customer’s order quickly, accurately, and efficiently
- ensure complete customer satisfaction through prompt and friendly service
- accurately handle customer cash, credit/debit payments, and change
- assist customers by providing information and resolving complaints
- follow all front end procedures
- assist with stocking shelves, facing and dusting as needed
- maintain checkout areas in a clean and orderly condition
