Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 1 year experience as a cashier
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Capability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in transactions
  • Willingness to follow company policies and procedures

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year cashier experience
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Experience in training or coaching staff is a plus
  • Ability to handle customer escalations professionally
  • Effective communication skills
  • Basic knowledge of point of sale systems and retail operations
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Job Duties

  • Process checkout and return transactions accurately and quickly
  • Monitor and maintain the self-checkout area to ensure smooth operation
  • Position and support Cashiers by expediting price checks and approving point of sale transactions and markdowns
  • Provide first level escalation for customer issues and resolve them effectively
  • Assist in supervising, coaching, and training other front end associates including new Cashiers
  • Utilize all available tools to coach and develop Cashiers
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures to minimize shrinkage
