Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year experience as a cashier
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Capability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Attention to detail and accuracy in transactions
- Willingness to follow company policies and procedures
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year cashier experience
- Strong customer service skills
- Experience in training or coaching staff is a plus
- Ability to handle customer escalations professionally
- Effective communication skills
- Basic knowledge of point of sale systems and retail operations
- High school diploma or equivalent
Job Duties
- Process checkout and return transactions accurately and quickly
- Monitor and maintain the self-checkout area to ensure smooth operation
- Position and support Cashiers by expediting price checks and approving point of sale transactions and markdowns
- Provide first level escalation for customer issues and resolve them effectively
- Assist in supervising, coaching, and training other front end associates including new Cashiers
- Utilize all available tools to coach and develop Cashiers
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures to minimize shrinkage
