Job Duties
- Greet and engage customers actively
- Process customer transactions quickly and accurately
- Handle various payment tenders including cash, checks, credit/debit, SNAP EBT, WIC, and coupons
- Adhere to company policies on cash shortages, overages, and restricted sale items
- Report pricing discrepancies and follow established procedures for stamps, gift cards, and coupons
- Maintain compliance with food safety regulations and reinforce safety procedures
- Create a welcoming environment by assisting customers with product questions and store information
- Work cooperatively in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment
- Manage conflicts reasonably and cooperatively
- Maintain honesty and integrity in handling customer and business information
