Job Requirements

  • At least sixteen (16) years of age
  • Ability to remain standing for long periods of time
  • Ability to move throughout the store
  • Capability to bend, lift, carry, reach, and stretch regularly
  • Ability to lift heavy boxes and safely use ladders or similar equipment
  • Eligibility to work in the United States
  • Willingness to work nights, weekends, and early mornings
  • Ability to engage courteously with customers in a public retail environment

Job Qualifications

  • Retail and/or customer service experience preferred
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Basic math skills for cash handling
  • Comfortable with physical activity and standing for long periods
  • Ability to follow company policies and procedures
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to omni-channel retail environment

Job Duties

  • Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions
  • Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience
  • Execute cash handling to standards
  • Engage customers on the benefits of the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments
  • Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey
  • Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
  • Participate in the truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes
  • Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance including merchandise return/go back process and general store recovery
  • Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned
  • Support shrink and safety programs
  • Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company programs to ensure compliance
  • Interact with others respectfully and positively
  • Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
  • Other duties as assigned
