Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- One year experience operating a cash register in a food service establishment or equivalent
- Food Handlers Permit accredited by Texas Department of State Health Services or American National Standards Institute
- Demonstrated skills and competencies in job duties through assessments and evaluations
- Proficiency in English speaking, reading and writing
- Basic math ability
- Team player mindset
- Knowledge of local food ordinances

Job Duties
- Handle cash, credit and other payment transactions accurately and efficiently
- Issue receipts and provide correct change
- Prepare cashier’s end of shift reports and deposit revenues following cash handling procedures
- Support food service operations including assistance in dining rooms and operating food service equipment
- Maintain stock levels and update menu boards
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of service areas and equipment
- Communicate effectively with customers, coworkers and management to resolve issues and promote positive environment
