Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred
  • 1 year experience with ten key by touch
  • 1 year experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook)
  • 1 year cashier or cash handling experience
  • Ability to lift approximately 50-70lbs

  • At least 1 year of cashier or cash handling experience
  • Experience using ten key by touch
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to use counting machines
  • Knowledge of basic accounting and auditing processes
  • Good communication and team collaboration abilities

Job Duties

  • Account for money collected daily from assigned routes
  • Post any discrepancies in invoice totals compared to cash collected
  • Assist other cashiers in completing daily tasks
  • Collect settlement packets from drivers
  • Collect and record all payments received
  • Review and verify that all invoices have been included as listed on sales report
  • Organize all paperwork including invoices in numerical order
  • Identify and record problems for driver supervisor to review
  • Use of counting machine
  • Prepare bank deposits and other necessary paperwork
  • Assist accounting department with data entry
  • Act as backup for the receptionist’s breaks, lunches, days off
  • Conduct routine audits and assessments to track compliance levels
  • Process, identify, and maintain audit findings, documentation, and trending data
  • Publish weekly compliance scorecard to highlight findings and update MAPs
  • Perform other tasks as needed and directed by supervisor
