Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Have 1-2 years of recent cashiering experience
- Ability to operate front-end equipment such as register, calculator, and scanner
- Be dependable and reliable
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Good communication skills
- Ability to take direction and constructive criticism
- Ability to participate in a team environment
- Ability to perform repetitious activities
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and stay organized
- Ability to lift and carry products weighing up to 30 lbs
- Ability to use both hands to move grocery carts requiring force up to 35 lbs
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficiency in cash handling and mathematical skills
- Ability to read, write, and count

Job Duties
- Process each customer’s order quickly, accurately, and efficiently
- Handle customer cash, credit/debit payments, and change accurately
- Assist customers by providing information and resolving complaints
- Follow all front-end procedures including stocking shelves, facing, and dusting
- Maintain knowledge of weekly ad items, store events, and seminars
- Communicate effectively with front-end manager and Head Cashier
- Ensure checkout areas are clean and orderly at all times
