Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age
- have a high school diploma or equivalent
- have 1-2 years of recent cashiering experience
- exhibit outgoing and friendly behavior
- maintain a positive attitude
- demonstrate ability to interact with customers
- operate front end equipment including register, calculator, and scanner
- be dependable and reliable
- be able to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- possess good communication skills
- accept direction and constructive criticism
- participate in team environment
- perform repetitious activities
- multi-task, prioritize and stay organized
- lift/carry product weighing up to 30 lbs horizontally/vertically without mechanical assistance
- use both hands to move grocery carts requiring force up to 35 lbs
- have strong attention to detail
- be proficient in cash handling and math
- read, write and count

Job Duties
- Process customer orders quickly, accurately, and efficiently
- handle customer cash, credit/debit payments, and change
- assist customers by providing information and resolving complaints
- follow all front end procedures
- assist with stocking shelves, facing and dusting as needed
- maintain knowledge of weekly ad items and upcoming events
- keep checkout areas clean and orderly at all times
- communicate effectively with front end manager and Head Cashier
