- Customer service experience

- Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, and subtraction)

Job Duties
- Greet and assist customers actively and professionally
- Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently using the POS system
- Handle various payment tenders including cash, checks, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, WIC, and coupons according to company policies
- Adhere to company guidelines on cash shortages, overages, and restricted sales
- Report pricing discrepancies and manage checkout procedures following established policies
- Maintain food safety regulations and ensure a clean, safe environment
- Identify and notify management of unsafe conditions, equipment repair needs, or other issues
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and creating a welcoming atmosphere
- Comply with local, state, and federal laws and company guidelines
- Manage conflict in a reasonable and cooperative manner
- Support vulnerable customers including minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults
- Follow directions and seek assistance as needed to resolve issues
- Perform job functions with honesty and integrity at all times
