Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of recent cashiering experience
- Outgoing and friendly behavior
- Positive attitude
- Ability to operate register, calculator, scanner
- Dependable and reliable
- Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays
- Good communication skills
- Ability to take direction and participate in team environment
- Ability to perform repetitious activities
- Ability to multitask, prioritize and stay organized
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs horizontally and vertically
- Ability to move grocery carts requiring force up to 35 lbs
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficient in cash handling and math skills
Job Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Have 1-2 years of recent cashiering experience
- Exhibit outgoing and friendly behavior
- Demonstrate a positive attitude and strong customer interaction skills
- Ability to operate front end equipment such as registers, scanners, and calculators
- Dependable and reliable with flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Good communication skills and ability to receive direction
- Ability to perform repetitious activities and multitask efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and proficiency with numbers
- Proficient in cash handling and mathematical skills
Job Duties
- Process customer orders quickly, accurately, and efficiently
- Handle cash, credit/debit payments, and change accurately
- Provide prompt and friendly customer service
- Assist customers with product information and resolve complaints
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of checkout areas
- Stock shelves, face products, and dust as needed
- Communicate effectively with front end manager and Head Cashier
