Job Requirements
- Must be at least the legal age to serve alcohol in the state
- Ability to operate POS and credit card equipment
- Able to handle cash transactions accurately
- Must maintain personal hygiene and neat appearance
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Physical ability to reach, bend, lift, carry, stoop, and stand
- Ability to detect counterfeit money
- Willingness to comply with company safety policies
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Must follow company policies and procedures regarding workplace conduct and safety
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in restaurant operations preferred
- Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions
- Proficient reading and writing skills
- Good manual dexterity
- Ability to stand and move for extended periods
- Knowledge of age verification laws for alcohol service
Job Duties
- Greet guests and receive food orders
- Repeat food orders and charge appropriate prices
- Receive correct payment and provide accurate change
- Process gift card transactions
- Stay updated on menu and prices
- Interact with guests in a friendly and efficient manner
- Make corrections to guest orders quickly
- Detect and respond to counterfeit money
- Verify age before serving alcoholic beverages
- Maintain clean and neat work area
- Clean and maintain equipment used
- Follow uniform and personal hygiene standards
- Complete in-service training and adhere to attendance policies
- Support safety procedures and maintain workplace security
- Keep guest credit card information confidential
- Cooperate with coworkers and work with minimal supervision
- Use appropriate communication in sensitive situations
- Address complaints and concerns professionally
- Promote positive public relations
- Perform other duties as assigned
