Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- basic math skills
- listen to the needs of the customer and communicate clearly
- attain mastery knowledge of POS functions
- able to function in a fast-paced work environment
- must be able to stand and walk on a hard or concrete surface, bend, reach, climb, kneel, squat, reach overhead and side to side and able to lift and carry up to 40-50 pounds on a regular basis
- perform cleaning and light maintenance with prescribed chemicals
- may include periodic exposure to all outdoor conditions at all times of day and year
- relevant cashier experience is preferred

Job Duties
- Provide fast, friendly, and accurate checkout services for customers
- execute a clean, friendly, and in-stock experience at the checkout area
- accurately process customer transactions on POS units using all acceptable payment methods
- handle beer purchases in compliance with state alcoholic beverage laws
- balance cash drawer at the beginning and end of shifts
- process exchanges and refunds per company policy
- settle shift Pay Point reports accurately
- maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the checkout area
- assist in stocking, rotating merchandise, and marking labels
- respond to customer complaints as the first point of contact
- train new cashiers
- perform other duties as assigned or required
- work flexibly on weekends, holidays, and peak business days
- perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
