Job Requirements
- At least 18 years old
- Eligible to work in the U.S. without restriction
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Physical ability to stand for long periods
- Ability to lift packages up to 25 pounds
- Reliable and punctual
- Basic computer literacy
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum six months experience in a similar cashier or retail sales position
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Strong customer service skills
- Basic math and cash handling skills
- Effective communication skills
- Bilingual ability in Russian and English is a plus
Job Duties
- Operate electronic cash register and process credit or debit card transactions
- Validate checks for customers purchasing products
- Issue receipts and make correct change for cash transactions
- Greet customers and assist them as required providing information on products or store policies
- Confirm cash drawer is accurate prior to beginning shift
- Reconcile cash and other receipts at close of shift
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of checkout area
