Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 1-2 years related work experience
- prior experience as cashier or in food service
- valid ServSafe or equivalent Food Handler Certification
- high level of integrity and honesty
- ability to stand and perform physical tasks for extended periods
- ability to follow written and oral instructions
- compliance with company safety and work procedures
- lawful age to serve alcohol according to state regulations
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 1-2 years related work experience
- prior cashier or food service experience
- valid ServSafe or approved Food Handler Certification
- high integrity and honesty
- proficient reading and writing skills
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to operate POS and credit card equipment
- ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure
- knowledge of restaurant operations, food safety, and guest service
- ability to stand and lift up to 50 lbs

- auditory and visual skills
Job Duties
- Greet guests, receive and repeat food orders, charge appropriate menu item prices, receive correct payment, provide change for transactions
- enact gift cards requested by guests
- stay familiar with California Fish Grill menu and prices
- interact with guests in a friendly and fast manner
- make corrections to guest orders efficiently
- detect counterfeit money and handle related situations
- verify age before serving alcoholic beverages
- ensure guest satisfaction
- maintain neat and clean uniform and appearance
- keep workstation clean
- clean and maintain equipment
- complete required training and adhere to attendance, uniform, and hygiene standards
- support company mission and values
- comply with safety and security protocols
- maintain confidentiality of guest information
- promote teamwork and positive public relations
- perform additional duties as assigned
