Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of recent cashiering experience
- Ability to operate front end equipment
- Dependable and reliable with flexible schedule availability including nights, weekends and holidays
- Ability to communicate effectively and work in a team environment
- Ability to perform repetitious activities and multitask
- Ability to lift and carry products weighing up to 30 lbs for short distances
- Use both hands to move grocery carts requiring force up to 35 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and proficiency with numbers
Job Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Have 1-2 years of recent cashiering experience
- Exhibit outgoing and friendly behavior with a positive attitude
- Ability to operate front end equipment including register, calculator and scanner
- Possess good communication skills and ability to take direction
- Able to multitask, prioritize and stay organized
- Proficient in cash handling and mathematical skills
- Strong attention to detail
Job Duties
- Process each customer's order quickly, accurately and efficiently
- Ensure customer satisfaction through prompt and friendly service
- Handle cash, credit/debit payments and change accurately
- Provide information and resolve customer complaints
- Follow all front end procedures and assist with stocking shelves, facing and dusting as needed
- Maintain knowledge of weekly ad items and direct customers to product locations
- Keep checkout areas clean and orderly at all times
