Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to operate POS and credit card equipment
- Experience handling cash transactions
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be of legal age to serve alcohol
- Physical ability to stand, reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push, and pull items up to 50 lbs
- Maintain personal hygiene and wear clean uniform
- Ability to identify counterfeit money
- Willingness to adhere to safety and work procedures
- Ability to work cooperatively with team members
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in cash handling or customer service preferred
- Knowledge of restaurant operations
- Familiarity with food safety and sanitation laws
- Proficient in operating POS systems and credit card equipment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of company policies and state and federal laws related to restaurant work
- Ability to follow instructions and procedures
- Good reading and writing skills
Job Duties
- Greet guests, receive and repeat food orders, charge the appropriate price for each menu item ordered, receive the correct amount tendered and provide the correct change for each transaction
- Enact gift cards requested by guests
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the restaurant’s menu and prices
- Interact with guests in a friendly and fast manner
- Make corrections to guest orders efficiently
- Detect counterfeit money and respond appropriately
- Verify age requirements prior to serving alcoholic beverages
- Ensure complete guest satisfaction
- Report to work in a neat and clean uniform, maintaining personal hygiene
- Keep work area neat and clean at all times
- Clean and maintain equipment used
- Complete in-service training, attendance, uniform and dress code requirements
