Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in a cashier or customer service role preferred
- legal age as per state regulations to serve alcohol
- ability to operate POS and credit card equipment
- capability to handle cash transactions and make change accurately
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to multitask and work under pressure
- maintain personal hygiene and neat uniform
- ability to stand, reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push and pull items weighing up to 50 lbs
- adherence to safety and sanitation standards
- proficiency in following oral and written instructions
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Greet guests, receive food orders, repeat food orders, charge the appropriate price for each menu item ordered by guests, receive the correct amount tendered by guests and provide the correct change for each transaction
- enact gift cards requested by guests
- stay familiar with and up to date with California Fish Grill Restaurant’s menu and prices
- interact with guests in a friendly and fast manner
- make corrections to guest orders in a fast and efficient manner
- determine counterfeit money and respond to situations involving counterfeit money
- verify age requirements prior to serving alcoholic beverages
- treat all guests to ensure their complete satisfaction
- report to work in a neat and clean uniform with well-groomed hair and personal hygiene
- keep work area neat and clean at all times
- clean and maintain equipment used
- complete requirements for in-service training, attendance, uniform and dress codes, and other work duties as assigned
