Job Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service
- Process customer transactions quickly and accurately through the check lane
- Understand and operate the Point of Sale system handling various tender types including cash, checks, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, coupons, and loyalty offers
- Adhere to company policies regarding cash handling, restricted sale items, and transaction procedures
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace, following food safety guidelines and safety programs
- Report pricing discrepancies and equipment issues to appropriate personnel
- Create a welcoming environment by assisting customers with product inquiries and supporting a positive shopping experience
