Job Duties
- Greet customers actively and provide exceptional service
- Process transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently through the Point of Sale system
- Handle various payment methods including cash, checks, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, coupons, and loyalty offers
- Adhere to company policies on cash handling, restricted items, and checkout procedures
- Report pricing discrepancies and follow guidelines for stamps, gift cards, and coupons
- Stay updated on current promotions and ads
- Comply with all food safety regulations and safety procedures
- Maintain a clean and safe checkout area
- Identify and report unsafe conditions or equipment issues
- Provide support to customers including minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults
- Work cooperatively in a fast-paced environment with professionalism and integrity
