Job Requirements
- Must be of legal age to serve alcohol in the state
- Ability to stand, reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push and pull items weighing up to 50 pounds
- Good manual dexterity and auditory and visual skills
- Proficient reading and writing skills
- Ability to follow company policies and procedures related to job safety
- Availability to work flexible hours during restaurant serving times
- Commitment to adhering to uniform and personal hygiene standards
- Ability to maintain neat and clean work area at all times
- Capability to detect counterfeit money and respond to situations accordingly
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior cashier or customer service experience preferred
- Knowledge of restaurant operations and food safety strongly desired
- Ability to operate point of sale (POS) systems
- Proficient interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Capability to maintain composure under pressure
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Basic math skills for transaction accuracy
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions
- Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines
- Ability to work well within a team environment
- Strong guest focus and customer service orientation
Job Duties
- Greet guests and receive food orders
- Repeat food orders and charge the appropriate price for each menu item
- Receive correct amount tendered by guests and provide correct change
- Enact gift cards requested by guests
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of menu items and prices
- Interact with guests in a friendly and fast manner
- Make corrections to guest orders efficiently
- Detect counterfeit money and respond appropriately
- Verify age requirements prior to serving alcohol
- Ensure guest satisfaction through polite and professional interactions
- Maintain neat and clean uniform and personal hygiene
- Keep work area and equipment clean and well-maintained
- Complete required in-service training and adhere to attendance and dress codes
- Support and comply with safety, confidentiality, and anti-discrimination policies
- Cooperate with co-workers and assist in teamwork efforts
- Use tactful communication in sensitive situations
- Follow up on guest complaints and concerns
- Promote positive community relations
- Perform other duties as assigned
