Job Requirements
- Lift and carry products weighing up to 30 lbs horizontally and vertically
- Use both hands to move grocery carts requiring force up to 35 lbs
- Work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Perform repetitious activities for extended periods
- Handle cash and perform mathematical operations accurately
- Be dependable and reliable
- Read, write, and count effectively
Job Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Possess 1-2 years of recent cashiering experience
- Demonstrate outgoing, friendly behavior and positive attitude
- Ability to operate front end equipment such as registers, calculators, and scanners
- Show good communication skills and ability to participate in a team environment
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and stay organized
- Strong attention to detail and proficiency with numbers
Job Duties
- Process customer orders efficiently and accurately
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions
- Provide friendly customer service and address complaints
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of checkout areas
- Assist with shelf stocking, facing, and dusting
- Communicate effectively with front end manager and Head Cashier
- Maintain knowledge of weekly ads, store events, and product locations
