Job Requirements
- be at least 18 years of age
- have a high school diploma or equivalent
- possess 1-2 years of recent cashiering experience
- show an outgoing and friendly demeanor
- ability to operate front end equipment including register, calculator, and scanner
- be dependable and reliable with a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- have good communication skills and ability to take direction
- be able to perform repetitious activities and multitask
- must lift and carry products weighing up to 30 lbs without assistance
- must use both hands to move grocery carts requiring up to 35 lbs of force
- require strong attention to detail and proficiency with numbers

Job Duties
- process customer orders quickly and accurately
- ensure customer satisfaction with prompt and friendly service
- handle customer cash, credit/debit payments, and give correct change
- assist customers by providing information and resolving complaints
- follow all front end procedures and assist with stocking shelves, facing, and dusting
- maintain knowledge of weekly ad items and store events
- keep checkout areas clean and orderly
