Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- minimum 1 year cashier experience
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- basic math skills
- ability to stand and move for extended periods
- strong attention to detail
Job Qualifications
- minimum of 1 year cashier experience
- strong customer service skills
- ability to coach and mentor staff
- good communication and interpersonal skills
- knowledge of point-of-sale systems
- ability to handle customer escalations professionally
Job Duties
- process checkout and/or return transactions
- monitor and maintain the self-checkout area
- proactively seek product/project knowledge to inform customers and identify sales opportunities
- position cashiers and support them by expediting price checks
- approve point-of-sale transactions and markdowns
- provide first level escalation for customer issues
- assist in supervising, coaching and training other front end associates
