- Be of legal age according to state regulations to serve alcohol
- maintain good personal hygiene and neat appearance
- ability to stand and perform physical tasks such as reaching, bending, lifting, kneeling, stooping, climbing, pushing and pulling items weighing up to 50 lbs
- able to follow written and oral instructions

- maintain confidentiality of guest credit card information

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in cash handling or cashier role preferred
- familiarity with POS systems
- basic math skills
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- customer service experience
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- understanding of food safety and sanitation principles
- knowledge of company policies and procedures
- ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- proficiency in reading and writing
- ability to work as part of a team
Job Duties
- Greet guests, receive food orders, repeat food orders, charge the appropriate price for each menu item ordered by guests, receive the correct amount tendered by guests and provide the correct change for each transaction
- enact gift cards requested by guests
- be very familiar with and up to date with California Fish Grill Restaurant's menu and prices
- interact with guests in a friendly and fast manner
- make corrections to guest orders quickly and efficiently
- determine counterfeit money and respond to such situations
- verify age requirements before serving alcoholic beverages
- treat all guests to ensure complete satisfaction
- report to work in a neat and clean uniform with well-groomed hair and personal hygiene
- keep work area neat and clean
- clean and maintain equipment used
- complete requirements for in-service training, attendance, uniform and dress codes, personal hygiene, and other assigned duties
