Job Requirements
- Legal age according to state regulations to serve alcohol
- ability to operate POS and credit card equipment
- ability to follow written and oral instructions
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in customer service or restaurant environment preferred
- proficiency in reading and writing
- good manual dexterity and physical ability to stand, reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push and pull items weighing up to 50 lbs
- strong work habits and adherence to safety protocols
- excellent interpersonal skills
- ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- maintain personal hygiene and neat appearance

Job Duties
- Greet guests, receive food orders, repeat food orders, charge the appropriate price for each menu item ordered by guests, receive the correct amount tendered by guests and provide the correct change for each transaction
- enact gift cards requested by guests
- be very familiar with and up to date with California Fish Grill Restaurant’s menu and prices
- interact with guests in a friendly and fast manner
- make corrections to guest orders in a fast and efficient manner
- determine counterfeit money and respond to situations involving counterfeit money
- assure age requirements are verified prior to serving alcoholic beverages
- treat all guests to ensure their complete satisfaction
- report to work in a neat and clean uniform with well-groomed hair and proper personal hygiene
- keep work area neat and clean at all times
- clean and maintain equipment used
- complete requirements for in-service training, attendance, uniform and dress codes, personal hygiene, and other work duties as assigned
