Job Duties
- Provide positive, personalized customer service by greeting each customer in a friendly manner
- assist with purchases
- suggestively sell and make sure products are available for purchase
- run a Point of Sale (POS) system and monitor customer lines in order to expedite the sales process
- maintain knowledge of products and services offered by the company and promote company programs
- adhere to federal, state and local regulations and prohibit sale of age-restricted products to individuals under the minimum age requirement
- listen and respond to customer requests
- follow immediate customer satisfaction guidelines to resolve customer concerns and forward information to management as needed
- clean and maintain the store area including counters, equipment, floors, cabinets and external areas
- perform light maintenance duties as assigned
- ensure equipment is operating correctly and communicate maintenance needs to management
- learn and follow applicable policies and procedures including grooming, cleanliness, uniform policy, eating, drinking and smoking policy, and overall professional appearance
- assist in maintaining a safe environment and comply with health and sanitation best practices
- ensure proper stock levels, dating and rotation of all food products and supplies
- attend company-required training programs and assist in training fellow store associates
- report all time worked for appropriate compensation
- complete other duties including special projects as assigned by management
