Job Requirements
- Must be of legal age to serve alcohol according to state regulations
- Ability to operate POS and handle cash accurately
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
- Maintain composure in fast-paced or pressure situations
- Follow company policies on safety and confidentiality
- Adhere to attendance and uniform standards
- Must be physically capable of performing required tasks
- Willingness to complete training and additional duties as assigned
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous restaurant or cashier experience beneficial
- Proficient reading and writing skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to operate POS and credit card equipment
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to multitask and maintain composure under pressure
- Familiarity with state regulations concerning alcohol service
- Demonstrated teamwork and adaptability
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions
- Physical ability to lift, stand, bend, and perform manual tasks
Job Duties
- Greet guests, receive and repeat food orders, charge correct prices for menu items, accept payments and provide correct change
- Enact gift card transactions requested by guests
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of menu items and prices
- Interact with guests in a friendly and efficient manner
- Correct guest orders promptly and accurately
- Detect and respond appropriately to counterfeit money
- Verify age requirements before serving alcoholic beverages
- Ensure guest satisfaction through courteous service
- Maintain neat and clean appearance and uniform
- Keep work area and equipment clean
- Complete required in-service training and comply with attendance and uniform policies
- Support safety programs and report unsafe conditions
- Maintain confidentiality of guest credit card information
- Comply with laws and policies to provide a harassment-free workplace
- Cooperate with co-workers and perform duties with minimal supervision
- Use tactful communication in sensitive situations
- Follow up on guest complaints and promote positive public relations
- Perform additional duties as assigned
