Job Requirements
- Prior front-of-house, catering, or pantry supervisory experience preferred
- ability to perform cashiering duties including cash transactions and cash drawer verification
- ability to interact with customers and resolve complaints
- knowledge of basic math for handling cash
- availability to work full-time Monday through Friday, 6:30 am to 3:00 pm
- willingness to comply with company policies and procedures
- legal authorization to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior front-of-house, catering, or pantry supervisory experience preferred
- strong customer service and communication skills
- ability to handle cash and point-of-sale systems accurately
- knowledge of sanitation and food safety standards
- ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- punctuality and reliability
Job Duties
- Performs sales transactions in a timely fashion
- enters all sales into the cash register to ensure purchases are accurately recorded
- makes change, accepts declining balance cards and other forms of payment, issues receipts to customers
- follows standard procedures for issuing cash refunds
- interacts with customers and resolves customer complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner
- responsible for all assigned change funds and cash receipts ensuring compliance with overage/shortage standards
- observes customer purchases to differentiate between standard portions
- replenishes condiments, coffee, beverages, and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness of service areas
- keeps pastry case stocked
- ensures compliance with company service standards and inventory and cash control procedures
- ensures compliance with all sanitation, ServSafe, and safety requirements
- performs other duties as assigned
