Job Requirements
- Must be at least the legal age to serve alcohol according to state regulations
- ability to operate POS and credit card equipment
- ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- maintain good personal hygiene and professional appearance
- availability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
- ability to lift, bend, reach, stoop, and carry up to 50 lbs
- ability to follow oral and written instructions
- knowledge of safety rules and procedures
- punctual attendance
- willingness to cooperate and work harmoniously with others
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in cashier or customer service roles preferred
- familiarity with point of sale (POS) systems
- basic math skills
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to maintain composure under pressure
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- understanding of company policies and legal regulations
- ability to stand and perform physical tasks
- proficiency in English reading and writing
- teamwork and adaptability

Job Duties
- Greet guests, receive food orders, repeat food orders, charge the appropriate price for each menu item ordered by guests, receive the correct amount tendered by guests and provide the correct change for each transaction
- enact gift cards requested by guests
- be very familiar with and up to date with California Fish Grill Restaurant’s menu and prices
- interact with guests in a friendly and fast manner
- make corrections to guest orders in a fast and efficient manner
- determine counterfeit money and respond appropriately
- verify age requirements prior to serving alcoholic beverages
- treat all guests to ensure their complete satisfaction
- report to work in a neat and clean uniform, maintain well-groomed hair and personal hygiene
- keep work area neat and clean at all times
- clean and maintain equipment used
- complete requirements for in-service training, attendance, uniform and dress codes including personal hygiene
- support mission, values, and vision
- implement safety, confidentiality, and compliance procedures
- cooperate with coworkers and promote positive public relations
- perform other duties as assigned
