Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience operating cash registers or handling cash transactions
- Ability to memorize PLU codes and product distinctions
- Physical ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Availability to work minimum of 30 hours per week including weekends
- Punctuality and reliability
- Willingness to participate in collective decision-making and teamwork
- Adherence to safety and security guidelines
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively
- Capable of standing for extended periods
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Familiarity with cashier policies and procedures
Job Duties
- Operate cash register, scale, credit card/ATM machine
- Give and receive various tenders including cash, food stamps, checks, credit cards, scrip and gift certificates
- Memorize PLU numbers and recognize different types of produce, bulk and bakery items
- Provide information and assistance to customers when needed
- Perform effectively under stressful and busy situations
- Diffuse and deescalate problems customers may incur at the register
- Count and balance till at the end of the shift
