Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age
- have a high school diploma or equivalent
- possess 1-2 years of recent cashiering experience
- demonstrate outgoing and friendly behavior
- have the ability to interact with customers
- ability to operate front end equipment including register, calculator, and scanner
- be dependable and reliable with a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- possess good communication skills
- ability to take direction and participate in a team environment
- perform repetitive tasks
- multitask, prioritize, and stay organized
- lift and carry products weighing up to 30 lbs from 36 to 24 inches height for distances up to 3 feet for up to 50 hours without mechanical assistance
- use both hands to move grocery carts requiring up to 35 lbs of force for distances up to 4 feet for up to 50 hours
- strong attention to detail
- proficiency in cash handling and mathematics
- ability to read, write, and count
