Job Duties
- Operate cash register and electronic scanner to itemize customer purchases
- process financial transactions including cash, checks, credit cards, food stamps, WIC, loyalty cards, gift certificates, rain checks, voids, and coupons
- weigh and carefully bag customer purchases
- maintain check-stand merchandising
- ensure proper product identification and pricing accuracy
- communicate company programs, in-store specials, and coupons to customers
- comply with company policies on security, cash handling, product handling, and sales of regulated items
- maintain clean and well-stocked department
- assist with stocking items
- follow PPE and safety guidelines
- adhere to food safety and cleaning standards
- uphold guest experience guidelines
- perform other assignments as needed
