Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum one year of cashier experience
- Basic math skills
- Reliable attendance
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to work flexible shifts
- Strong communication skills
Job Qualifications
- At least one year of experience as a cashier
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to handle cash accurately
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Knowledge of point-of-sale systems

Job Duties
- Provide fast, friendly, accurate and safe service to customers at checkout
- Process checkout and return transactions
- Monitor and maintain the self-checkout area
- Proactively seek product and project knowledge to assist customers and identify selling opportunities
- Follow all policies and procedures to minimize shrink
- Position cashiers and support them by expediting price checks
- Approve point-of-sale transactions and markdowns for various service points
- Provide first level escalation for customer issues
- Assist in supervising, coaching and training other Front End Associates
- Participate in training new cashiers and utilize coaching tools to develop cashier skills
