Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum of one year prior restaurant cashiering experience
- Basic knowledge of food presentation, preparation, and food handling
- Ability to handle cash and credit card transactions accurately
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Duties
- Welcome guests with a smile and friendly manner
- Execute a high standard of customer service from beginning to end
- Handle each payment transaction accurately and efficiently complying with restaurant policy
- Maintain all required Point of Sale (POS) receipts as required by policy
- Provide confident guest interactions and address guest issues or concerns in a polite and professional manner
- Complete required side work duties and end of shift checkouts to ensure smooth operation of the restaurant
- Maintain register area clean and well organized
- Stock register area with any supplies or items needed
- Answer questions about menu items including food content, preparation style, beverages, and other restaurant services
- Follow all standard food handling, sanitation, and health department guidelines
- Maintain customer satisfaction by responding promptly and courteously to requests
- Follow proper payroll, uniform, and grooming policies and procedures
- Notify management of unsafe conditions, needed maintenance of tables, chairs, carpet, and/or equipment, and any accidents
- Maintain open communication with the Front of House and Back of House staff to ensure efficient flow of restaurant
- Available to fill in as directed by management
- Perform other duties as assigned
