- Experience as a Bagger or Courtesy Clerk is a plus
Job Duties
- Greet and engage customers actively
- Process customer transactions quickly and accurately through the POS system
- Handle various payment methods including cash, checks, credit/debit cards, SNAP EBT, and coupons
- Ensure compliance with company policies on cash handling and restricted sales items
- Report pricing discrepancies and adhere to coupon and gift card procedures
- Stay informed on current promotions and ads
- Follow food safety regulations and company safety programs
- Identify and report unsafe conditions and equipment maintenance needs
- Provide excellent customer service by answering product questions
- Manage conflict and difficult situations in a cooperative manner
- Support special needs customers and vulnerable populations
- Work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Maintain honesty and integrity regarding financial transactions and customer information
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal laws and company guidelines
- Seek assistance as needed to resolve customer or business issues
