Job Duties

  • Greet and engage customers actively
  • Process customer transactions quickly and accurately through the POS system
  • Handle various payment methods including cash, checks, credit/debit cards, SNAP EBT, and coupons
  • Ensure compliance with company policies on cash handling and restricted sales items
  • Report pricing discrepancies and adhere to coupon and gift card procedures
  • Stay informed on current promotions and ads
  • Follow food safety regulations and company safety programs
  • Identify and report unsafe conditions and equipment maintenance needs
  • Provide excellent customer service by answering product questions
  • Manage conflict and difficult situations in a cooperative manner
  • Support special needs customers and vulnerable populations
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Maintain honesty and integrity regarding financial transactions and customer information
  • Adhere to all local, state, and federal laws and company guidelines
  • Seek assistance as needed to resolve customer or business issues
