Job Duties
- Greet and engage customers actively
- process customer transactions quickly and accurately
- handle various payment methods including cash, checks, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, and coupons
- adhere to company policies on cash shortages, restricted sales, and checkout procedures
- report pricing discrepancies and follow policies on postage stamps and gift cards
- stay informed about current and seasonal promotions
- comply with all food safety regulations
- reinforce safety programs and report unsafe conditions
- perform preventive maintenance inspections and report equipment issues
- create a welcoming environment by assisting customers with product inquiries
- comply with local, state, federal laws, and company guidelines
- manage conflict professionally and cooperatively
- act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information
- provide support to minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults
