Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 1 year experience as a cashier
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Basic math skills
  • Capability to stand for extended periods
  • Willingness to work flexible hours

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year cashier experience
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to handle transactions accurately
  • Knowledge of store policies and procedures
  • Leadership or supervisory experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Provide fast, friendly, accurate, and safe customer service
  • Process checkout and return transactions
  • Monitor and maintain the self-checkout area
  • Seek product and project knowledge to inform customers and identify selling opportunities
  • Follow all policies and procedures to minimize shrink
  • Position and support cashiers by expediting price checks and approving point of sale transactions and markdowns
  • Provide first level escalation for customer issues
  • Assist in supervision, coaching, and training of front end associates
