- Prior experience as a cashier or in retail customer service
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Attention to detail

Job Qualifications
- Minimum one year cashier experience preferred

Job Duties
- Provide fast, friendly, accurate and safe customer service
- Process checkout and return transactions
- Monitor and maintain the self-checkout area
- Seek product and project knowledge to inform customers and identify selling opportunities
- Follow policies and procedures to minimize shrink
- Position cashiers and support them by expediting price checks
- Approve point of sale transactions and markdowns
- Provide first level escalation for customer issues
- Assist in supervision, coaching and training of front end associates
- Participate in training new cashiers
