Job Duties
- Greet and assist customers actively and with enthusiasm
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the Point of Sale system
- Handle various payment methods including cash, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, and coupons according to company policies
- Monitor cash drawer balances and adhere to cash handling limits to prevent shortages and overages
- Follow guidelines on restricted sales such as alcohol and tobacco
- Report pricing discrepancies and safety issues promptly to management
- Maintain food safety regulations and ensure a clean, safe checkout environment
