Job Requirements
- Willingness to work varied hours including Sundays through Saturdays
- ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs frequently
- capability to operate scanning and register equipment
- good judgment and decision-making skills
- physical ability to stand, reach, turn, squat, stoop, and bend
- ability to work effectively in a team environment
- compliance with store safety and security procedures
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in retail or customer service roles an advantage
- friendly and outgoing personality
- knowledge of front end operations including security procedures and coupon handling
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- motivated to grow career and learn new skills
- ability to work varied shifts including weekends
Job Duties
- Make lasting connections with customers
- ring up customer purchases in an accurate, efficient, and prompt manner
- problem solve customer questions and concerns, including escalating issues to a manager when necessary
- help maintain a clean and safe store environment
- work collaboratively with the team to ensure an excellent department
- arrive promptly for shifts and work as scheduled
- follow all procedures relating to coupons, returns, and security
- operate equipment such as scanners, registers, and coupon machines
- adhere to safety standards in physical tasks including lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling
