Job Duties

  • Greet, engage, and assist customers actively
  • Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently
  • Handle various payment methods including cash, checks, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, and coupons
  • Adhere to guidelines on restricted items and maintain loss control
  • Report pricing discrepancies and manage coupons, gift cards, and postage stamps
  • Stay updated on current promotions and ads
  • Comply with food safety regulations and safety procedures
  • Identify unsafe conditions and notify management
  • Inspect equipment for maintenance needs and report issues
  • Provide excellent customer service by answering product-related questions
  • Handle conflict cooperatively and respectfully
  • Follow company policies and legal regulations
  • Support and assist diverse customer groups including minors and individuals with special needs
  • Perform duties safely with or without accommodation
