Job Duties
- Greet, engage, and assist customers actively
- Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently
- Handle various payment methods including cash, checks, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, and coupons
- Adhere to guidelines on restricted items and maintain loss control
- Report pricing discrepancies and manage coupons, gift cards, and postage stamps
- Stay updated on current promotions and ads
- Comply with food safety regulations and safety procedures
- Identify unsafe conditions and notify management
- Inspect equipment for maintenance needs and report issues
- Provide excellent customer service by answering product-related questions
- Handle conflict cooperatively and respectfully
- Follow company policies and legal regulations
- Support and assist diverse customer groups including minors and individuals with special needs
- Perform duties safely with or without accommodation
