Job Qualifications

  • Understanding of company policies on cash shortages, overages, and restricted items

  • Ability to provide courteous and helpful customer interactions

Job Duties

  • Greet customers actively and engage with them
  • Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently
  • Manage various tenders including cash, checks, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, coupons, and loyalty offers
  • Adhere to company policies on cash handling and restricted items
  • Report pricing discrepancies and follow coupon and gift card procedures
  • Stay updated on current and seasonal promotions and ads
  • Maintain compliance with food safety regulations and safety procedures
  • Support customers by answering questions about products and store policies
  • Identify and report unsafe conditions or equipment issues
  • Work cooperatively in a fast-paced environment and manage conflict professionally
  • Handle customer and business information with honesty and integrity
  • Provide assistance to minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults
  • Follow directions and seek help to resolve customer and business issues
