Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1-2 years related work experience
  • valid ServSafe or Food Handler Certification
  • must be of legal age to serve alcohol
  • ability to operate POS
  • ability to handle multiple tasks
  • ability to maintain composure under pressure
  • ability to follow instructions
  • physical ability to stand and lift up to 50 lbs
  • good communication skills
  • adherence to uniform and hygiene standards

Job Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1-2 years related work experience in cashier or food service
  • valid ServSafe or approved Food Handler Certification
  • high level of integrity and honesty
  • proficient in operating POS and credit card equipment
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • ability to handle multiple tasks in fast-paced environment
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation
  • ability to maintain composure under pressure
  • ability to follow oral and written instructions
  • ability to stand, reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push and pull up to 50 lbs
  • manual dexterity
  • auditory and visual skills

Job Duties

  • Greet customers and receive food orders
  • repeat food orders accurately
  • charge the appropriate price for each menu item ordered
  • receive correct amount tendered and provide accurate change
  • enact gift cards requested by customers
  • be very familiar with and up to date with menu and prices
  • interact with guests in a friendly and fast manner
  • make corrections to customer orders efficiently
  • identify counterfeit money and respond appropriately
  • verify age requirements before serving alcoholic beverages
  • treat customers to ensure their complete satisfaction
  • maintain neat and clean uniform and personal hygiene
  • keep work area neat and clean
  • clean and maintain equipment
  • complete in-service training and adhere to attendance and uniform policies
  • support restaurant mission, values, and vision
  • cooperate with safety procedures and programs
  • maintain confidentiality of guest data
  • comply with sexual harassment and discrimination policies
  • work cooperatively with coworkers
  • use tactful communication in sensitive situations
  • follow up on complaints and concerns
  • promote positive public relations
  • perform additional duties as required
