Job Duties
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and visible manner
- Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently using the POS system
- Handle various payment methods including cash, checks, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, WIC, coupons, and complex loyalty offers
- Adhere to company policies on cash handling, sale of restricted items, and loss prevention
- Report pricing discrepancies and maintenance issues to appropriate personnel
- Follow food safety regulations and store safety procedures
- Provide customer support by answering product-related questions and creating a welcoming environment
