- be at least 18 years of age
- high school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years recent cashiering experience
- outgoing and friendly behavior

- ability to operate front end equipment
- dependability and reliability
- ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
- good communication skills
- ability to take direction and participate in a team environment
- ability to perform repetitious tasks
- ability to multitask, prioritize and stay organized
- must lift/carry product up to 30 lbs for up to 50 hours
- ability to move grocery carts horizontally requiring force up to 35 lbs for up to 50 hours
- strong attention to detail and proficiency with numbers
- proficiency in cash handling and mathematical skills
- ability to read, write and count

Job Duties
- process customer orders quickly and accurately
- handle customer cash, credit/debit payments, and provide correct change
- assist customers by providing information and resolving complaints
- maintain knowledge of weekly ad items and store events
- assist with stocking shelves, facing, and dusting
- ensure checkout areas are clean and orderly
- communicate effectively with front end manager and Head Cashier
